It has to do with network issues. People all over the world are trying to use the network! This requires computers, space on the hard ware, address to every piece of hardware on the network/Internet, time for the messages to go back and forth, each message must be coded and decode many times before it gets to the address where it is being sent!
The time you are on the Internet has consequences to all others on the Internet.
Do you wish to contribute to the cost of building the infrastructure
required to allow you to play games (That amount of times and resources), while the rest of the world uses the Internet also?
