How much will gamestop give for ps2 games that have scratches, but work?

My son is wanting to trade in his ps2 and games for credit towards a wii. The system is in great shape, but the games have scratches on the back. I guess they are superficial, because they work fine. He has 17 games, they are little kid's games like Spongebob, Harry Potter, Spyro, Ty, etc. I don't know if I should trade in or sell in Craigslist. If so, how much? No game store would give you much for that even if they were in mint condition. They're all about making profit for themselves but of course it's easier to sell to them. You can get close to double the sum they'd offer if you sell that stuff elsewhere on your own.
